If there’s one thing I can say for all this sorta-snow Duluth has received as of late, it’s how marvelously thoughtful said sorta-snow is to melt away almost immediately, leaving awful smudgy scummy muddy messy smears all over my little Fiat 500′s Bianca Pearla exterior! (Sarcasm level: 8 out of 10.)
Simply put: Doña Farfalle needs a bath.
Living in Duluth, Minnesota you wouldn’t think snowfall would be a worthwhile topic to blog about. Unless, of course, you happen to run a blog all about, erhm, snowfall. (And my, what an exhilarating blog it would be!…)
Man, what a winter this has been (?). No snow to speak of. And just a small handful of Arctic-esque days. So few, in fact, that when we do get a day near sub-zero temps, it is a terribly rude awakening. Honestly. Let me tell you – cold like that first thing in the morning works better than a 60 oz. jug of coffee.
Today was one such day. Brrrrrrrrrrrilliant.
Hope to showcase Doña Farfalle in a snow backdrop before the season ends…
This past Sunday was one of the highest secular holidays in American culture.
Super Bowl, baby.
So, I’ve been cruising the not-so-snowy streets of Duluth, Minnesota in my lovely Fiat 500 for the last two months or so, and I’ve really been digging on all she has to offer. From the comfortable seating to the rockstar gas mileage, the secure and steady handling to the spacious trunk, the ample cup holders to the instant iPod hookup –Doña Farfalle Al Dente is positively stacked with awesome features that would satisfy (nay, impress!) many a driver.
