Road trip! Road trip! This past weekend was one for the books. Dinner reservations, a rock concert, and baseball game – all set in downtown Minneapolis. Twin Cities, here comes the Fiat! First thing was first, though – for the first time in about 3 weeks, it was time to gas up Doña.

Doña the Fiat 500! A Day Up The Scenic Highway
Ahhh, just a nice little drive up the Scenic highway, on an absolutely gorgeous day – sunny, 75 degrees. The lake was this amazing cobalt blue color, and the sky was a beautiful light, mellow blue, and the leaves on the trees and the grass – a deep, vibrant green. Strong breeze made everything look like it was dancing. I reclined the driver seat of the Fiat 500 and rolled down the windows and just lounged there forever.

I had so much fun shooting that dumb little video last week about my totally rockstar parking spot, I decided to make it a habit – at least as far as Doña Farfalle the Fiat 500 is concerned.

Each morning, I have a new favorite routine. Find the tiniest parking spot available in the parking deck next to the office and then I park in it, then I come in and brag to all my co-workers about it. BOOYAH! This one defies gravity. Behold!
Doña Farfalle the Fiat 500 Beats the Heat at Island Lake!
This past weekend in Duluth was HOT. Thank heavens. Saturday, we walked across the street to buy a new bike lock so that when we rode across the lift bridge to the beach, people wouldn’t be tempted to steal our sweet rides. On the way back from the bike shop, we encountered Gary, our landlord, who asked us what we were up to for the weekend. Aside from the beach, we didn’t have too many plans, but were in the mood to go somewhere new, see something pretty.
