Living in Duluth, Minnesota you wouldn’t think snowfall would be a worthwhile topic to blog about. Unless, of course, you happen to run a blog all about, erhm, snowfall. (And my, what an exhilarating blog it would be!…)
But seriously, snowfall and the great Northern Midwest seem synonymous. Except for this (past / continuing?) winter. About 2-3 snowfalls worth remarking about, bringing down way less than 2-3 inches of white powder, and barely lasting 2-3 days… what gives?
Who knows. All I know is today I looked out the window before I headed out to work and saw the world blanketed white! Joy! (This sneak peek allotted me the insight to opt for shoe-wear rooted in function, rather than fashion.)
Alas! That blanket hardly stuck around 2-3 hours. Strange… as the day went on, beautiful billowy enormous flakes continued to fall from the sky, but less and less snow seemed to accumulate on the ground. Indeed, by quittin’ time (5 pm), though it had truly snowed all day, there was less snow on the ground than there was that morning.
Strange indeed.
Anyway, how did the Fiat 500 handle in these… conditions?
Just fine
Not to jinx anything, but come on, Mother Nature – the readers & passengers at home want to see what the Fiat 500 is capable of!
I suppose I could drive to Lutsen and take her out on the slopes? Hmmm…
Ciao for now!
